Mobile Phlebotomist – Part Time

Solaris Diagnostics is a fast-growing clinical laboratory located in Central Kentucky. We are currently looking for an experienced mobile phlebotomist who is skilled in the phlebotomy profession and is willing to grow with our organization. The suitable candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in a professional phlebotomy environment and exhibit exceptional customer service and have a passion for patient care.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Must have a minimum of two years of experience in successful and difficult venipuncture.
Experience with servicing patients in homes as well as skilled nursing facilities.
Be able to correctly identify patients and draw needs, understanding the order of draw.
Must have the ability to safely drive for up to eight hours per day.
Must be able to travel from site to site throughout the day.
Accurately document specimen, patient and provider information into information system.
Must be able to identify, evaluate and problem solve throughout day, exercising critical thinking and have ability to work independently.
Safely and accurately prepare samples, ensuring all documentation is accurate and sample is properly packaged for safe shipment.
Excellent communication skills are required in order to build relationships with staff and patients
Ability to process specimens in timely manner ensuring required guidelines are met.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have at least two years experience in mobile phlebotomy
  • Must have good communication and written skills as well as critical thinker
  • Proficient in Microsoft office as well as other technical programs
  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to pass drug test, motor vehicle check as well as criminal background check
